Hey, everybody!!  Goodness, it has been a LONG time since I've checked in!  Between a sinus infection that knocked me out for several weeks and the busyness of life itself, I have had a hard time keeping up... So I'm making myself wait to have lunch until I write to you!  I'm currently famished, so I'd better write this quickly!! <LOL>

Are you having a good Fall?  Oh, I love it... Except for all the rain we've been having, but after the dry times we've had in past years, I'm not complaining!  This past Sunday night I had the best time with my Grace Church family... We had a chili supper, where I think we all ate too much... I didn't even know there were so many varieties of chili in the world... And all of them were SO GOOD!! Oh, and I can't forget all those yummy desserts... Now, those Grace Church folks can cook, let me tell ya!! :) <Smile>  And then before we could digest all that amazing food, they built a bonfire... And you know, I just had to have a Smore!!  Between the great food and the awesome fellowship, not to mention the perfect fall evening, I was a happy woman!! <LOL>

So, have you been listening to The Living Room?  I know that some of you have written to tell me that you have, and I truly appreciate it!!  Thanks also to those of you who wrote to let me know that you were praying for me when I was sick... I sure did need those prayers!!

Anyway, whether you join us every week or occasionally, and especially if you've never tuned in, you definitely won't want to miss this week!!  For the first time in a while, we have company!!  I am honored to be joined by my very special guest, my longtime friend, David Baroni!!  David is a singer/songwriter whose ministry has touched lives all over the world... His passion for the Lord and his heart to worship Him comes through in every song!  It was awesome to be able to catch up a little, and I'm glad that I can share our conversation and David's great music with you!! Speaking of The Living Room, God is doing some great things with this vision that I call The Little Show That Could!! :) <Smile>  I often receive e-mails from listeners who will mention how much a particular song ministered to them.  In the coming weeks, we'll have more company, so I won't have to do all the talking... That's always a good thing!! :) <Smile>  Some artists, like Ayiesha Woods and Ginny Owens, are well-known to Christian music-lovers.  Others, like my new friend Big West, are up-and-coming artists with a unique ministry or testimony that needs to be heard.  And remember the back-to-school show that I was planning a couple of months ago?  Well, we can't call it a back-to-school party anymore... But we can still do the show!! :) <Smile>  So, for those of us who are under 25 or still feel like we are, the Fall Jam is taking place on October 30!!  I'll be joined by a couple of guests, one being Big West, a young hip-hop artist with a message aimed straight at the hearts of today's youth!  I'll have more info for you next week, but if you're under 25 like me, you won't want to miss this party!! :) <Smile>

Well, all this talk of chili and Smores has REALLY gotten to me!!  Thanks for reading these epistles, and thanks to those of you who have written to see if I'm still here. :) <Smile>  There's SO much more that I want to tell you... So I'll just have to write again soon!  Meanwhile, wherever you are, I pray that you are enjoying these crisp autumn days!  I'll check back with you in a few days... Have a blessed weekend!!
