Greetings, my friends!  Wow, what a week we've had around here... It's been jammed, and my weekend will be even busier!!  I'll be helping with worship at a conference at a local church called Royal Life Church, where my friends, Michael and Lorelle Rich, are pastors.  The guest speaker is a woman of God named Kimberly Daniels... I'm expecting a great weekend in the presence of God!!

The highlight of this busy week was definitely Tuesday night, when my sister, Darla, celebrated a very important birthday!  I won't tell her age, but let's just say this one was a milestone!  In honor of her special day, my brother-in-law, Brian, threw quite a shendig!!  There were volleyball games, karaoke singers (I can't believe I still remember every single word to "You Light Up My Life!"... Did I just admit that?!), and enough food to feed TWO armies!!  My mouth still waters every time I think about that grilled barbecued chicken and that YUMMY fruit salad... A secret recipe of my sister's VERY-funny friend, Kippy.  We all had a blast, and I appreciate Brian for giving my sister such an awesome birthday!!

Well, I want to take a minute to wish all of the dads who are a part of the JJMNews family an especially happy and meaningful Father's Day this year!  What a difference you make in the lives of your children, whether they're still growing up or out on their own!!  This will be my third Father's Day without my own one-of-a-kind dad, but no one can take away all the fun memories and life-changing lessons I learned from him... I'm thankful for the fathers who still do their best to lead by example, instilling godly beliefs and values into their children.

In honor of dads everywhere, we're doing a little something special in The Living Room... We're celebrating Father's Day Jana-style!!  We're starting with the best music I could find from guys who are helping to make Christian music great... As usual, they're all from various branches of the Christian music tree! :) <Smile>  Of course, a few of the ladies will show up too, and we'll be playing some special music pertaining to this special Sunday, June 21.  I'm still working on the show, but I'm hoping to also include some comedy in the mix... Speaking of The Power Station, if you've been reading these newsletters for a while, you know that I'm a HUGE believer in this Internet-radio ministry!  My friend Simon Cook, the program director of The Power Station, continues to be a blessing to me every week by allowing me to broadcast The Living Room on this great station!  I'm still encouraging everyone to prayerfully consider sowing a financial seed into this great ministry.  Simon informed me last week that the link for donating is now back, and you can find it near the bottom of the Home-page.  I know that he will appreciate your help in keeping this ministry alive and growing!!

Well, it's been a long day, and I only have a few hours to sleep before I start again... So believe it or not, I'm signing off!! <LOL>  Please continue to keep Jana Jackson Ministries in your prayers... It's a tough time for ministries everywhere, and I have certainly felt the pinch!  As I mentioned last week, though, these hard times have been used by God to remind me of how faithful He truly is... He is SO amazing!!  Know that I treasure every note that you send, and I always take your prayer requests to heart.  Have a GREAT weekend, and if your dad is still here, make some memories, okay?  Blessings, everyone...
