Good morning, my friends!!  Hope you all had a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!  I enjoyed my day with my family at my aunt and uncle's house thoroughly!!  They cooked the most amazing feast... A feast fit for a king, literally!  They sent me home with leftovers, too...  You know, those of us who are single just LIVE for leftovers!  So, before you throw out half a pot of chili because your family is tired of chili, find a single friend to bless... Trust me, we appreciate it!! <LOL>

Well, once again, Christmas is in the air!!  This year I'm especially excited, because I am especially busy... But it's a fun kind of busy!!  It's actually the reason I was so excited to get this list up and running again, because I wanted to be able to share everything with my JJMNews family... So, here goes!

First of all, beginning tonight, I will be helping to provide Christmas entertainment at a wonderful family restaurant in the Nashville area.  I'll be singing every Friday and Saturday night until December 20 at the Sweet Tea Diner, a fun and cozy place that features some of the BEST Southern cookin' in Nashville!  My friend Marty Hennis is the owner, and he also happens to be a great pianist.  He's taking a break from kitchen duties to be my accompanist, along with our drummer-friend Joe Bergman.  We'll be comin' atcha with SCADS of Christmas favorites from about 5:30 till 8:30 or 9:00... Hopefully, they won't make me sing the whole time without a break!!! <LOL>  The Sweet Tea Diner is located at the corner of Nolensville Road and Old Hickory Boulevard in the shopping center with the big Lowe's store.  Marty says that they are between Lowe's and Office Max.  I know it's last-minute (I tried to avoid that, but we won't even go there!), but if you're looking for something fun to do during this holiday weekend, I'd love to see you there!  I'll try to have some of my CD's there, in case some of you want to give a Jana CD to a music-lover on your Christmas list.

The other really exciting thing I want to share with you is that The Living Room, my Internet radio show, is back... And this time, we're a 3-hour show... And WE'RE LIVE!!!  I've actually been hosting the show for a few weeks, but since I couldn't find my subscriber list, I wasn't able to let you know until now.  I still have a goal of having an on-line Christian station of my own someday soon.  For now, though, I'm REALLY enjoying honing my skills as a DJ and learning the ropes of broadcasting.  There's talk of airing The Living Room on at least one other Christian station, which happens to be located in the UK... I can't wait to see what God does with this part of my ministry!!  This week begins Christmas In The Living Room, and I'll be playing the best contemporary Christian and urban gospel Christmas music I can find.  We'll be welcoming some Christmas guests as well... I'm sure there's more, but I need to get ready to run some errands and finish memorizing words to Christmas songs!  I didn't realize how many of the old favorites I knew only part of!  You know, like, "The Weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, La-la-la-la-la, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"  But I have now omitted most of those la-la's and replaced them with the correct words... I THINK!! <LOL>  Before I go, I do want to thank all of you for sticking with me after the email fiasco the other day.  Thanks to those of you who wrote or called to encourage me and even to help me to find some humor in the situation... I love you guys!  And oh, my goodness, I could just HUG those of you who offered tips to help me to fix the problem!  I'm a little short-handed around here, and when things like that happen, I can get easily overwhelmed.  It helps to have a calm voice of reason, even if that "voice" is actually in the form of an email! <Smile>  Hopefully, those who were really offended are gone now, and the rest of you are glad to be here... I sure am glad you're here!  I've missed being able to keep you updated with the goings-on of JJM>  Please keep me and this ministry in your prayers.  God has laid some exciting things on my heart, and I'm not fixin' to be steered away from those things by what I hear in the news every day!  We have a God who is WAY bigger than any economic crisis... Or ANY crisis, for that matter!  Somebody needs to be reminded of that today!  Blessings to you, my JJM family...
