[JJMNews] Free Music... And a Request For Help

Hey, everybody!  Hope all is well in your part of the world... My heart sure does go out to all of those precious people in India... I hope you'll join me in praying for that country during this horrible time!  The Holy Spirit is the only one who can comfort some one during such tragic circumstances... I'm so thankful that He is faithful to meet us right where we are, giving us just what we need in any given situation!!

Well, I hosted my first episode of Christmas In The Living Room last Saturday afternoon... What  a blast it was!!  Technology can do some crazy things to a person, and I had a hard time getting started.  However, about 15 minutes into the show when Natalie Cole started singing "Sweet Little Jesus Boy," I decided that it was WELL worth all those set-backs! :) <Smile>  If you'd like to download or listen to last week's episode, go to

Speaking of Christmas In The Living Room, what would a Christmas party be without presents?!  We had no Christmas guests last week, but we did have our first giveaway... And we still don't have a winner!!  So, if you want to take advantage of some free MP3's this Christmas season, here's what you need to do.  Send an email to me at

with the words Living Room Giveaway in the subject line.  In the body of your message, put your name, email and any other contact info, such as a phone number or a Skype or Messenger ID.  Then tell me who some of your favorite Christian artists are.  If you're in the mood for Christmas music, let me know that as well.  I'm looking for Email Number 5, and if you happen to be the sender, you will receive a link where you can download your Christmas surprise from The Living Room.  Come on, y'all... This is gonna be FUN!!

Just one more thing, and I'm off to get a few hours of sleep... I have to make sure that my adopted 12-year-old niece, Jordan, is up by 6:00 a.m. to be ready for school... Mercy, but this Mommy stuff is fun sometimes, especially for a non-morning person like me! <LOL>  Anyway, since I have so many great friends in the Nashville area who read my ramblings, I want to see if some of you would like to help me out over the next few weekends.  Actually, I could use about 6 people who could give me a night.  I need help with transportation to and from the Sweet Tea Diner for the next 3 weekends, so that I can continue helping to sing in the season! :) <Smile>  If you're interested in helping, send me an email, or leave me a message... Your meal is free, and it will give us some time to catch up a little bit, too!  I'm working on putting together a schedule, so just let me know if there's a particular night that would work for you. Before I get some much-needed rest (Boy, has it been a doozy of a day!), I just want to thank you for all of your encouraging words after my last installment of JJMNews.  You reminded me of why I started doing this in the first place... And you reminded me of just how special you all really are to me!  I am blessed to have so many folks in my corner, pulling for me.  The number of those who left us is larger than I might have liked... But you know, come to think of it, Gideon (one of my favorite Biblical characters!) had to allow God to whittle down his bunch a good bit too, and it all worked out for his good... So I suppose I'm in good company!! :) <Smile>  And now I'd better go, before I go and run some more of you off!! <LOL>  Love you guys...
